Description of Background Options:
Simple: Single color or blend of colors behind subject, often chosen to compliment subject.
Scenic: Any kind of scenery behind subject, including landscapes and buildings.
Toned paper: Where drawing backgrounds are toned with gouache in a color of your choice. Subtle colors can be a huge compliment to charcoal drawings. See gallery for samples.
Window paintings are always left with a clear background
Payment structure:
50% payment due beforehand, 50% due upon completion of piece, after receipt of which piece will be delivered (unless delivery is being made in person, upon which final payment can be made then). Payments can be made by check (mailing address will be supplied) or cash.
IMPORTANT: As a surface, glass is not a porous and thus not an archival material. To preserve your painting’s lifespan, only light dusting with a feather duster is recommended. Vigorous rubbing or foreign liquids could result in the peeling of paint. Do not place in direct sunlight.
